Does the person receiving it need to install the app?
Yes. The calendar opens in the Bisou app, on iPhone and Android: that's what brings the notification every morning and the widgets. The link goes straight to the download, then the calendar opens by itself.
Can I start without paying?
Yes. Your first three doors are free, no credit card needed. To fill the rest and send the calendar, it's €14.99 once per calendar, paid through the App Store or Google Play. No subscription.
What if I start after December 1?
No problem. Doors from days that have already passed open one by one as soon as they receive the calendar, then the rhythm picks up: one door every morning until the 24th.
Can I edit a door after sending it?
Yes, as long as it hasn't opened yet. Every door stays editable until its opening time; after that, it's theirs.
Is it only for couples?
Not at all. Parents, grandparents, kids, friends: Bisou tailors its ideas to the person, from the sweetest to the silliest. A “big & easy” mode makes everything larger for grandmas.
Is my content private?
Yes. Only you and the person you give it to can see the doors. We don't read your content, we don't sell it, and you can delete everything whenever you want.
